Tate Liverpool is the largest gallery of modern and contemporary art in England outside of London. Housed in a beautiful converted warehouse in the historic Albert Dock, Tate Liverpool brings together innovative displays and international exhibitions. Showcasing the very best in cutting edge modern and contemporary art from 1900 to the present day, Tate Liverpool presents a wide range of work including photography, sculpture, painting and installation. A variety of events are on offer to accompany the exhibitions such as family activities, introductory tours, exhibition talks, lectures and more.

From the M62 follow brown signs to the Albert Dock. There is a multi-storey car park at Kings Dock (5 minutes walk from Tate Liverpool).
By Train
The nearest mainline train station is Liverpool Lime Street. For local rail services go to James Street.
By Bus
The City Centre Circular Route S1 operates every 10 minutes linking Lime Street railway station with the Albert Dock and other central tourist attractions from 9.00 – 18.30. Route 11 links the Albert Dock with the city centre and Brunswick railway station every 30 Minutes (Monday – Saturday).
