Testimonials

Here's what some of our clients have to say...

What was the most rewarding part of the conference? The delegates' positive reaction to the City of Liverpool and the delegates spanning from nearly 40 countries and 5 continents. Also, seeing the Anglican Cathedral set up for the Gala Dinner - a spectacular sight and truly memorable evening for all attendees. Ultimately, a feeling of success, as shown via the feedback both throughout and after the event.

Liverpool was chosen as an excellent centre to visit a number of restoration projects in the North West, as well as the development of the Liverpool Link Canal across the Pier Head, adjacent to the conference venue. Approximately 200 delegates from the Americas and across Europe, as far as Serbia, assembled for the three days of formal conference, as well as optional informative tours which were arranged as 'add-ons'. And in the evening, guests from more than 20 countries enjoyed hospitality at Liverpool Town Hall and on the Mersey Ferries, as well as the personal welcome by local enthusiasts created at the conference venue of the Crowne Plaza. Delegates really appreciated both the travelling opportunities provided at Liverpool John Lennon Airport as well as the transport links with Manchester Airport.

Thank you for the fantastic, patient and efficient way that you dealt with us from the start. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you; you have exactly the right balance between friendliness and professionalism. Many thanks!

David Kimber, Association of Teachers and Lecturers

A big thank you for all your help in sorting our accommodation out. It all came together; we had a super time and discovered a bright, vibrant city. You all did yourselves really well. If the home of Rugby is at Twickenham then the spiritual home of the Hampshire Fire Service Rugby is Liverpool. We had fun.

Toby Simmonds, Fire Fighter Games

We had a good time working with the Liverpool Convention Bureau and look forward to doing so again; the local knowledge is fantastic and everyone is always friendly and helpful.

Liverpool's Britannia Adelphi hotel was a superb venue for the AVA Spring conference. The hotel's conference package was outstanding; all the initial details being arranged for us effortlessly, by The Liverpool Convention Bureau, who also later arranged for an on-line hotel room booking service.

If anyone is contemplating a conference venue in Liverpool, then please don't overlook the Adelphi... and let The Liverpool Convention Bureau do all the negotiating for you. You won't be disappointed!

Alex Dugdale, University of Liverpool

We had a Conference in Liverpool with 130 attendees from 23 countries and we couldn't have put it on without the help of the Liverpool Convention Bureau.

Alex Douglas, Liverpool John Moores University
