European Capital of Culture 2008, World Heritage site, world capital of pop, home to the Beatles and Liverpool FC, more national museums and galleries than any other UK city outside of London, Liverpool makes a fascinating case study for all those interested in cultural regeneration.
The Liverpool 08 Cultural Study Tour provides a unique opportunity to experience the city and hear the stories behind its regeneration from those in the know. Special interest speakers, private viewings, civic welcome, behind the scenes tours, expert guides (including other language speakers) and Q&A's with local community/cultural partners can all be arranged according to your group's particular interest.
